How To Hide Drive Partition
Sometimes when we need to hide some file/files to others, we usually don’t put it in the hard drive instead we just put it to other removable drive like flash player or burn it to CD, but what if we need to hide the whole partition like a whooping 80GB drive partition? No problem, you can still hide that by not using your flash player or your CDs but by using the traditional “cmd” Command Prompt.

Here’s how:

1. First open Command Prompt (Start>Run>Type “cmd” without the quotes)

2. On the flushing cursor type “diskpart” (again without the quotes)

Note: Wait for the Diskpart> and the flushing cursor to appear, usually it takes 5 seconds.

3. After the Diskpart> appears, type “list volume” (no quotes ok). It will then show all the drive in your computer including optical drives.

4. Select the drive you like to hide, for example using my system configuration, I want to hide drive d: then I’ll just type “select volume 3” (excluding the quotes). This varies depending on your system configuration.

5. After that, type “remove letter D” (again without the quotes). Then exit command prompt.

Your drive now is hidden, don’t worry its not been deleted of formatted, we just hide it. So if you want to see your drive again just follow the following.

To unhide the partition, repeat the steps 1-4 and on step 5 type “assign drive D” (ok again without the quote).

That’s all; your drive now is not hidden.

Lock-folder-without-using-any-special
Do you have some files/pictures/videos to hide from your children?
Although this technique is not perfect and can be easily defeated, I’m sure a newbie wouldn’t be able to find your “locked” folder.

Instructions::

1) Copy the give code in a note pad and save the note pad in your pc with the name name.bat (that is with the extension of .bat). you can replace the name portion with anything u want.

Note– In place of password in the code given type your desired password.

2) A batch file will be created where you have saved. Now double click on it , it will make a folder with the name locker at the same place where the batch file is save.

3) Now add the files you want to be locked in that folder.

4) Double click on the batch file. It will ask for locking the folder formed. Type y(yes). The folder will be locked and hidden.

5) To unlock,double click on batch file again and enter the password in the new window opened.

6) Dont forget to hide the batch file!

If it is not working then try this method & i m 100% sure it will work

Suppose you want to lock the folder games in d: which has the path D:\xylic . In the same drive create a text file and type in it(without the quotes):
"ren xylic xylic.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"
Now save this text file as loc.bat

Create another text file and type in it(without the quotes):
"ren xylic.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} xylic"
Now save this text file as key.bat

Now you can see 2 batch files loc and key.Press loc and the folder xylic will change to control panel and you cannot view its contents.Press key and you will get back your original folder.
try it out!!!!!!!

THE ANSWER IS NO bcoz
BSNL uses ‘Port Binding’ means you can use the account
designated for the particular telephone number…. and cannot use
others account to access net form your place.You can bind conference room
to a single IP address if the system it's running on has multiple addresses.
This process is called port binding whereby the application will only
answer to a specified port on a specified address. The first port has to
be unique to that instance of CR. The rest of the ports can be bound:
Using AdminServ:

/as general set ports 7001,7000:127.0.0.1,6666-6669:127.0.0.1

For the web server it would look like:

/as web port 8000:127.0.0.1

Just replace the 127.0.0.1 with your own IP address.

Using web based administration:

In the web based admin just put in the ports and IPs themselves. Do not put in the /as general set ports in the port area:

7001,7000:127.0.0.1,6666-6669:127.0.0.1

The same rule should be used in the web section fo the web based administration.

Using the windows configuration tool:

In the Windows configuration tool you would click on General, Advanced, Ports and there is a place to enter in the IP address to bind to that port.

but u should know the ip of the person whose account u want to use

and then bind that ip in u'r system by following the procedure mentioned above

Ports are useful only for communication not for the accessing. Although, the ip address and MAC address are bind it self and stored in particular location in SERVER of ISP.
ISP are maintaining information about "Usernames, passwords, hosts, And MAC address" to give access internet.

just find the file in server by using different techniques, modify the entry with your
MAC address( yours ) and ip address(your friends). And you have to aware of
"User name and Passwords".


Thats it.......... you can gain access from ISP which is in network(wireless or cable).

And if you are under same ISP, which is your friends ISP, then accessing is very easy
to access internet.

How to change the name of recycle bin
1. Open Regedit (select Run in the Start menu and enter regedit in the text box).
2. Left click the + sign beside "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT" and locate CLSID (the Class ID
option). Scroll down to the {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} key and
click the folder.
3. In the right-hand window, double-click (Default), and change the name from Recycle Bin to
whatever you prefer.
4. Click OK
5. You can also change the Tip Info as well if you like. Double click on tip info in the right
hand window and change the text to anything you would like. Tip Info is brought up
when you hover on the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop and it gives you a brief
description of what the recycle bin is about (Make it something entertaining)
6. Click OK.
7. Exit Regedit.
8. To make the new name take effect, click once anywhere on the desktop, then press the

The principle behind Blackle is based on the fact that the display of different colours consumes different amounts of energy on computer monitors. The creators of Blackle cite a 2002 study from Roberson, who tested a variety of CRT and LCD monitors and found that an all black screen consumed less energy than an all white screen on all of them.

The creators of Blackle state that the idea behind the site came from a blog, which estimated that a black Google would save 750 megawatt-hours a year. On the Blackle homepage, the creators of Blackle provide a count of the number of watt-hours that they claim the users of Blackle have collectively saved.
Functionality
Since it is not owned by Google Inc., the Blackle site lacks many of the features of conventional Google, including the 'Cached' and 'Similar Pages' options, and it does not have as many of the corresponding links that can be found on the Google homepage. These links include items such as preferences, advanced search, language tools, images, groups, news and scholar. The iGoogle feature is also lacking in Blackle. But an upcoming 'iBlackle' service being developed independently is underway to provide a similar set of iGoogle functionality or provide a seamless integration to iGoogle itself.

Blackle is a Google Custom Search partner, which allows for the customization of the returned search results. As such, a search in Blackle does not necessarily return the same results as a Google search.
Criticism
The creators of Blackle have been criticised for lack of clarity regarding the type, size and manufacturer of monitor that the power usage claims refer to. One critic, a technology journalist who reviews computer hardware, tested 4 cathode ray tube (CRT) monitors and 23 liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors, and found that power was saved by the CRT monitors, but was less than that claimed by the blog post that inspired Blackle. The LCD monitors tested showed increased power use in the majority of cases, although most of the larger (24 inch) monitors did use less power displaying a black screen.

NTFS vs. FAT
There are essentially three different file systems available in Windows XP: FAT16,FAT32, and NTFS File System.
FAT16
The FAT16 file system was introduced way back with MS–DOS in 1981, and it's showing its age. It was designed originally to handle files on a floppy drive, and has had minor modifications over the years so it can handle hard disks, and even file names longer than the original limitation of 8.3 characters, but it's still the lowest common denominator. The biggest advantage of FAT16 is that it is compatible across a wide variety of operating systems, including Windows 95/98/Me, OS/2, Linux, and some versions of UNIX. The biggest problem of FAT16 is that it has a fixed maximum number of clusters per partition, so as hard disks get bigger and bigger, the size of each cluster has to get larger. In a 2–GB partition, each cluster is 32 kilobytes, meaning that even the smallest file on the partition will take up 32 KB of space. FAT16 also doesn't support compression, encryption, or advanced security using access control lists.
FAT32
The FAT32 file system, originally introduced in Windows 95 Service Pack 2, is really just an extension of the original FAT16 file system that provides for a much larger number of clusters per partition. As such, it greatly improves the overall disk utilization when compared to a FAT16 file system. However, FAT32 shares all of the other limitations of FAT16, and adds an important additional limitation—many operating systems that can recognize FAT16 will not work with FAT32—most notably Windows NT, but also Linux and UNIX as well. Now this isn't a problem if you're running FAT32 on a Windows XP computer and sharing your drive out to other computers on your network—they don't need to know (and generally don't really care) what your underlying file system is.

NTFS
The NTFS file system, introduced with first version of Windows NT, is a completely different file system from FAT. It provides for greatly increased security, file–by–file compression, quotas, and even encryption. It is the default file system for new installations of Windows XP, and if you're doing an upgrade from a previous version of Windows, you'll be asked if you want to convert your existing file systems to NTFS. Don't worry. If you've already upgraded to Windows XP and didn't do the conversion then, it's not a problem. You can convert FAT16 or FAT32 volumes to NTFS at any point. Just remember that you can't easily go back to FAT or FAT32 (without reformatting the drive or partition), not that I think you'll want to.

The NTFS file system is generally not compatible with other operating systems installed on the same computer, nor is it available when you've booted a computer from a floppy disk. For this reason, many system administrators, myself included, used to recommend that users format at least a small partition at the beginning of their main hard disk as FAT. This partition provided a place to store emergency recovery tools or special drivers needed for reinstallation, and was a mechanism for digging yourself out of the hole you'd just dug into. But with the enhanced recovery abilities built into Windows XP (more on that in a future column), I don't think it's necessary or desirable to create that initial FAT partition.
